Area of study
Rural governance
Questions under design — no findings
How decisions are made and carried out in rural areas — panchayats, block and district administration, and how they work together.
Questions we intend to study
- Who decides what at village, block and district level, and how do these levels coordinate?
- How can citizens hold rural institutions to account?
These are questions, not findings. See how we study.
