If something we published is wrong, tell us. Corrections are never applied silently: every upheld correction is logged below and a notice is added to the page it affects (§165).

You do not have to tell us who you are. If you do, only the corrections officer can see it — never the author of the content (§164). It is deleted 90 days after we resolve your request.

Check a request

How we handle requests

  1. Received — you get a reference code.
  2. Triaged — someone other than the author checks whether it is in scope.
  3. Decided — upheld, partly upheld, not upheld, or out of scope.
  4. Actioned — the page is corrected, with a visible notice and version history.
  5. Logged publicly — the outcome appears in the log below.

We never show your identity to the author of the content (§164), and we do not retaliate against anyone who asks for a correction.
